Grand Forks, ND - June 18, 2010- Rain has forced the opener of the two-day World of Outlaws event originally scheduled for tonight (Friday, June 18) at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota to be pushed back a day. Saturday's event will now serve as the opener at the high-banked bullring, with the finale set for Sunday, June 19. Both Saturday and Sunday's events will pay $10,000 to the winner.
Donny Schatz and Craig Dollansky split wins at River Cities Speedway last season. Joey Saldana, the current World of Outlaws point leader, was victorious in the series debut at the track in 2007. Schatz, the four-time and defending World of Outlaws champion, is the only driver that has won two A-Feature events with the series at the track in his home state.
A special "Pit Party" will be held from 2-5 p.m. Central on Saturday for fans that purchased advance two-day tickets, with a chance to meet drivers, get autographs and receive giveaways.
