CAMARGO, IL -(6-2-10) -By Brian Liskai- All Star Championship Racing, Inc.- So far in 2010, the local drivers have proven to be tough to tame when the O Reilly All Star Circuit of Champion Sprint Cars pay a visit and it will just as tough this weekend. The travelling All Star teams are set for a Pennsylvania weekend, Friday, June 4 at the fast Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., and Saturday in the heart of the PA Posse land, Port Royal Speedway.

This is the second venture into the tough Pennsylvania racing state for the All Stars in 2010. On April 30, Lance Dewease dominated at Williamsgrove Speedway, and the next night it was Fast Freddie Rahmer taking the win at Lincoln Speedway.

However, defending All Star Champion and current point leader Tim Shaffer is looking strong again, coming off a close second-place run to Bryan Sebetto at Fremont Speedway on May 29. Two-time All Star Champion Greg Wilson is also showing his team will be a force to contend with. Rookie of the Year candidates Cap Henry has proven he can compete with the tough PA Posse and most recently, fellow Rookie of the Year candidate Jared Ridge ventured into Pennsylvania to get some laps.

Every time we race in Pennsylvania our All Star drivers have shown improvement. We re excited to compete with some of the toughest weekly competition in the United States, said Guy Webb, All Star President.

Of course when you think of racing at Lernerville you have to think of The Apollo Rocket Ed Lynch Jr. and fellow PA drivers like Rod George, Danny Holtgraver and Bob Felmlee. Both George and Felmlee have wins at the historic track.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens and
$15 for teens. Pit passes are $35 or $25 for DIRTcar members. Racing will get underway at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the All Stars head to the tough Port Royal Speedway, located midway between Harrisburg and State College, Pa. for the postponed Bob Weikert Memorial from Mothers Day weekend. The $5,000 to win affair promises to bring in many of the tough PA Posse members. And, the track s tough local competitors like current point leader Rick Lafferty and former World of Outlaws drivers Justin Henderson, Greg Hodnett and Tyler Walker along with Chad Layton, Mike Erdley, Dave Ely and more will make it even more challenging for the All Star drivers.

If you need a place to stay be sure to stay with the Econo Lodge of Mifflintown, PA. Be sure to ask for the Speedway rate. For more information call 717-436-581 or visit www.econolodge.com

Admission will be $20 for adults; $11 for students and kids 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $30.
