Camargo, IL (3-23-09) by Kelly Brown – Public Relations Director – From its conception the O'Reilly Midwest All Star Series was created to celebrate the past and provide a future for 410 winged sprint car racing in the Midwest, and in 2009 the series will continue to fulfill those goals. Today the series is unveiling their 2009 schedule which will feature 24 dates in 4 states at 15 notable tracks across the Midwest.
The Midwest All Stars will kick off their season on May 9th at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The Midwest All Stars will get to battle with the veterans of the All Star Circuit of Champions as there some co-sanctioned events on the schedule. There will also be 7 new tracks that the Midwest All Stars will be seeing for the first time this season to challenge the drivers and teams of the series.
This season the battle for the 2009 Midwest All Star Series title will be decided in Illinois with an event with a special purse. After Jerrod Hull collected his second Midwest All Star championship in 2009, will he be ready to go for a third or will another competitor rise to the occasion and break his triple title run?
