In a phone call this morning with the Promoter and Harriett Chancellor of O'Reilly's MLRA the race scheduled for this weekend (Friday March 12 and Saturday March 13,2004) has been re-scheduled for the following weekend.
Race will be held on Friday March 19, & Saturday March 20, 2004 same times Gates open on Friday at 4:30pm and Races begin at 7:30pm on Saturday Gates open at 3:30pm and Races at 6pm
"The weather has just been to iffy stated the Promoter to Harriett Chancellor of O'Reilly's MLRA this morning. We do not want to lose Racers nor Race Fans so rather than take a chance with those that have to drive in from other States we have gone ahead with our plan for inclement weather as we stated we would do if the weather became questionable" stated Mrs. Chancellor this morning.
"We are on the phone calling and ask that everyone contact anyone who was planning on coming down for the Races to call and let them know that they have been re-scheduled for next weekend" Chancellor concluded.
Don't forget to cancel any Hotel and Motel rooms that you have made!
