LEXINGTON, KY -- This Saturday, July 1st, the O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts invades Sitka, KY's 201 Speedway. One of the most exciting tracks on the tour, Mike Jewell fended off the challenges of Jackie Boggs, Tim Tungate, and Aaron Hatton to notch the win in a highly-entertaining finish during the Series' last visit on May 6th.
On tap this Saturday, July 1st, will be a complete program for the nation's most competitive regional racing series with Racing Optics Time Trials, Mason Racin'/Arizona Sport Shirts Heats, Design 500 B-Mains, and the O'Reilly Auto Parts A-Main paying $3000 to win. Past O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series winners at 201 Speedway include inaugural Series Champion Eddie Carrier Jr. (twice), Paul Harris (twice), Whitney McQueary (twice), 2004 Series Champion Aaron Hatton, Tyrel Todd, and defending Series Co-Champion Mike Jewell.

Scottsburg, IN veteran Mike Jewell leads Isom, KY hotshoe Chris Combs by just 80 points in an entertaining battle atop the Series standings. Campbellsville, KY native Justin Rattliff currently sits third in the points race with Tim Tungate fourth and Bryan Barber fifth. Over 180 different drivers have competed with the Series in 2006.
