I would say roughly 230-240 is getting too hot. I have ran mine before to 220 and it was still fine.....( but that was on a 100 degree night ) Normal nights i only run about 180-190. I have not overheated a motor in years now but i can remember than i had one hit 240 before and there was a noticeable loss of power. How hot are you gettin it?
