Parts Plus USCS Sprint Car Spring Xplosion at Magnolia Motor Speedway on April 3rd- 4th

Atlanta, GA - April 1, 2009 - The Parts Plus United Sprint Car Series (USCS) Outlaw Thujder Tour invades Magnolia Motor Speedway on Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th for the Parts Plus USCS Spring Xplosion weekend sprint car double-header featuring two full nights of high speed action at one of the Mid-South's most popular venues. Race fans are expected to be treated one of the top fields of the season for the Parts Plus USCS "Outlaw Thunder"
Tour winged sprint car races at Magnolia Motor Speedway.

The strong contingent of entries includes some of the Nation's best winged sprint car drivers including 7-time United Sprint Car Series National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee who leads the current 2009 National and Mid South Thunder Tour point standings over Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas in both categories. Another top entry is 2008 Part Pus USCS Mid South Thunder Champion Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas.

Other noted expected entries include Ronny Howard from Southaven, Mississippi who finished fifth in the 2008 Mid-South standings and Chris Williams from Memphis, Tennessee who finished sixth in last years standings.
Also expected to compete are 2008 I-30 Speedway track Champion Justin Sturch from Benton, Arkansas who is fifth in the current Parts Plus Mid South Thunder standings as well as former USCS Champion, Eddie Gallagher from Piperton, Tennessee who is sixth in the standings. Raymond Stull who ranks seventh in the current standings and Lee Sowell who is ninth in the standings after a top five finish on March 21st at Malden Speedway are entries as is Wade Oliver who rans just out of the top ten in eleventh position.

Additional expected entries include some of the top young drivers in the Southeast including the 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 USCS Rookie of the Year drivers Bryn Gohn from Malabar, Florida (2005) Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas (2006), Don Young from Bartlett, Tennessee (2007) and Anthony Nicholson Bartlett, Tennessee (2008). Nicholson who is also racing for the National Championship is eigth in the Mid South regional standings.

Current 2009 Parts Plus USCS Rookie of the Year candidates, Justin Carver from Drummonds, Tennessee and Jon Stinson from Memphis, Tennessee are entered as well. Carver ranks in second place in the current Mid South standings and Stinson is tenth.

The world's most powerful short track cars are expected to reach speeds approaching 130 M.P.H. around the "Mag". Top Winged Sprint Car drivers from
8 states are already pre-entered for the first ever appearance of the Parts Plus USCS Sprint Cars to Magnolia Motor Speedway. The event is also the only scheduled sprint car appearance for either Columbus, Mississippi area track for the 2009 season.

Each night's event will feature a Parts Plus USCS Power Dash comprised of the top six cars from the last USCS event followed by qualifying races for that night's event. The action then gets more serious with a B-Main to set the final competitors before the evening's finale the Parts Plus USCS sprint car A-Main event.

Additional racing divisions featured in back-to-back nights in the cavalcade of racing include the mighty Rislone USCS Modified Series, Nesmith Chevrolet Late Model Weekly Racing Series, plus the Columbus Racing Alliance Weekly Racing Series Super Late Models, Late Model Stock, Street Stocks, and Stinger racing divisions

Racing action scheduled at 7:30pm on Friday night and 7pm on Saturday night.
