The "Outlaw" Billy James wins his 11th feature win at the Poplar Bluff Speedway. Just as excited tonight as he was on his first win, Billy thanked his sponsors and said that many things have worked to his advantage this year. He's had good, competitive, clean drivers along with a good track to allow this many wins.

66 Chris Hall
1 Greg King
45 Jerry Conner
10 Troy Fowler
75 Gene Fowler
10r Tim Radford

Awesome Anglin does it again barely beating out Robert Powers from Campbell, Missouri, in a field of 24 cars tonight at the Poplar Bluff Speedway. By lap 20 Anglin had stretched out a five-car lead on the #02 car. But the excitement really came after the checked flag dropped when the #21t of Todd Clifford and #10 of Jared Wagster tied up on the back straight-a-way before entering turn three. This incident broke out into a major brawl between the two IMCA drivers. Security, track personnel and everyone else seemed to be involved in this fight, which ended in disqualification of both teams.

SUPER STREET:

94 Scott Tracer
JP21 Jason Pennington
34 Johnny Houart

Cookin' Claudie Cook beats teammate Awesome Anglin in the super street feature. Cook led all 20 laps with Awesome Anglin, Hot Scott Tracer and Jason Poohbear Pennington close behind. Claudie expressed more excitement from this feature win than his first at PBS. He thanked Charles Morrisette, car owner, for this outstanding car along with his fellow racers.

PURE STREET:
97 Paul Reeder
20b Jacob Black
J19 Jason Palmer
C23 Billy Hopkins
15 Eric Lacy

46 Michael Lack
11 Brad Barton
37 Chris Webb
29 Greg Casey
Paul Reeder wins Feature at PBS.
29 Pure Street Cars raced hard for a starting position in the feature race of 20 cars. Jacob Black, Tony Lackey, Delain Scott and Jim Hunt transferred from the B-Main to the A-Main. The #20b of Jacob Black had his most impressive finish of all after a huge crash on the drop of the green flag feature involving the #85 of Donna Tilley, 20b of Jacob Black, and #85 of Delain Scott. Tilley's car was hauled off the track by Rushin's Wrecker; Scott's car had to be push started and Jacob Black left the track on two flat tires, bent left upper A-frame, ball joint and spindle. While the rest of the field was fixing to take the green after the caution, Black pulled back onto the track, in the rear, with a crippled car. #20b came from the back to an admirable second place finish. WTG!
