Question about Ray Walsh at Pevely last Saturday night

I noticed Ray stayed out after he did his hot laps and took a second hot laps session. Is this legal and does he have to get official permission to do this?
Also, that car is bad fast. I'm surprised there is no sponsorship on it but that could change after his performance last Saturday.
 
There were a lot of cars that used both sessions of hotlaps. There was no test-tune day so they let drivers get more than one session in. The graphics weren't all done on Walsh's car.

Everyone knows why that car was fast,ray had to get to quik trip at herky to get that beer now that budlight is no longer available at i-55,he is on a personal mission to tear the hell out of that track this year... Great job ray to u and the 1w guys!!!
