Question about "sport mods"?

What is the difference in these compared to regular mods or b-mods? Just curious.

They are b-mods. Just UMP sanctioned. Tri city, Highland, & Brownstown are not sanctioned.

I know out west 99% of the pro mods were crate

I think Highland is the only track around here that calls them SportMods..

UMP calls them Pro Mods..

IMCA calls theirs SportMods..

Yeah I was just curious about what they call sportmods like at Quincy and other tracks to the north.
