Late Models - 15 cars
1. 1st-Justin Reed
2. 33b-Mark Burgtorf
3. 45dw-Denny Woodworth
4. 20-Dustin Griffin
5. 11d-Brian Dively
6. 21-Todd Frank
7. 3-Ron Elbe
8. 155-Terry Wilson
9. 0-Terry Gallaher

Notes: Denny Woodworth led the 1st 5 laps, but Justin Reed overtook him after a lap 5 caution. Mark Burgtorf passed Denny Woodworth late to take 2nd. Before a lap 19 caution Jamie Wilson (#155) was running 3rd or 4th put pulled off as did Keith Pratt (#33p) who I believe was running 7th at the time.

A-Mods - 16 cars
1. 18-Michael Long
2. 36-Kenny Wallace
3. 05-Dave Weitholder
4. 14-Rick Conoyer
5. 16-Shawn Deering
6. 35-Steven DeLonjay
7. 9c-Russ Coultas

Notes: Kenny Wallace won the 1st heat but rolled a six invert (where he started). Michael Long started 3rd. They were 1-2 by lap 2. Rick Conoyer and TD Burger (#32b) ran side-by-side for the majority of their heat race with Burger edging Conoyer at the stripe. Robbie Reed (#5) showed up after the heat races and started from the rear (not sure where he finished). He ran well at Wheatland this weekend.

Sport Mods - 14 cars
1. 73x-Tanner Klingele
2. 3-Tony Dunker
3. 12-Adam Birck
4. 12-Brandon Dale
5. 31-Joey Gower
6. 79-Nathan Bringer

Notes: Brandon Lennox (#17) beat Klingele to the line in a photo finish (.011 difference) and got the trophy, pictures, and interviewed, but it was later announced that he failed post-race inspection (illegal rear suspension-IMCA rules). Nathan Bringer (youngster) led the 1st 10 laps or so. Brandon Dale passed him for the lead at that point, but a yellow came out and that put Bringer back out front. On the restart they were 4 wide thru 1 & 2 and 3 wide for the lead the next lap. This was the 1st feature ran on the smooth surface.

Other Notes - The #566 (Jim Lynch) won the stock car feature (8 cars or so), with #30c (Abe Huls) in 2nd and the #2t (Taylor) in 3rd. I left before the 4-cylinder feature (approximately 12 cars).

Done by 9:00.. and that was the last of 5 features Come join us in Quincy on Sundays. If everything goes according to Hoyle, most weeks we can have a St. Louis area racer home before the 10:00 news is over.
