Quincy Raceways October Fest Shootout On Tap for October 5

Quincy Raceways owner and promoter Tony Rhinberger has announced the scheduling of the KRNQ Pepsi Inside Track Selby Implement Company October Fest Shootout for IMCA Late Models and Modifieds on October 5. The event will feature the Budweiser J&J Steel IMCA Late Models in a $2500 to Win, $200 to start fifty lap main event and the three time weather postponed Miller Lite Modified Shootout paying $2500 to Win and $175 to start forty lap main event. A special appearance for Mod Lites/Dwarf Cars is also on tap with their feature event paying $300 to win and $75 to start. All divisions will be competing under a Draw Redraw format with a $50 entry for Late Models and Modifieds which includes the drivers pit pass. The modifieds may run the UMP or Wissota Mod Tire A-40 or H-40, D-40 on left front only, the IMCA Mod Hoosier G60–15, the American Racer G60–15 or KK 704, with NO Softening allowed. Grooving, sipping and grinding is allowed. Tech questions can be directed to Doug Miller at 217-242-1190 after 5:30pm.

The Pit Gates will open at 2:00, Grandstands at 3:30, Hot Laps at 4:15 and Racing Action at 5:00pm. Adult tickets are $14, Seniors(65+) $12, Teens(11-15) $7 and Kids 10 and under are Free, The Family Pass will be $35 for two adults and two teens, a $7 savings.
