FOREST PARK, Ill. (March 22) – Awards for Modified drivers are new as part of R2C Performance Products’ expanded partnership with IMCA.
The winners of 30 designated special events all receive $50 product certificates. The five regional champions and the national rookie of the year all get R2C-manufactured R01522 High Performance Competition Series air filters.
The Forest Park, Ill., company also returns for a third season as a sponsor for the Deery Brothers Summer Series.
Feature winners get a $100 product certificate if they took the checkers using an R2C 14-inch Round High Performance Competition Series air filter, or a $50 product certificate if they raced with another brand.
Top five finishers in point standings for the Late Model tour, as well as the rookie of the year, all receive an R2C R01522 High Performance Competition Series air filter.
Sixth through 15th in final points receive $50 product certificates.
All Late Model drivers are required to display two R2C Competition Series decals, available during pre-race tech at all 19 events on the 2011 schedule.
Information about R2C-made air filters is available by calling 877 488-6211 and at the www.R2Cperformance.com website.
"The R2C brand is prevalent throughout Late Model racing, but Modifieds are an area they really wanted to focus on in 2011,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Adding product and certificates will really allow our members to experience the quality of R2C air filters and this expansion is very much appreciated."
