Races for Sat. June 30th has been canceled

Due to the extreme heat and to protect our drivers, fans, flagman, and staff the races for Sat. June 30th has been canceled. Next Sat. July 7th will be $5.00 night in the grandstands along with it being double points night in all classes. Gates will open at 4:00pm, Pill draw will be from 5:00 pm - 6:00pm, Hot Laps will be moved to 6:30 pm and racing will be at 7:30 pm due to the heat. Please understand we have made this decision to protect everyone at the track. Thanks

Okay, so I guess we should cancel the baseball game at the stadium too!

If the drivers got paid a million dollars I'm sure they would be there.

And don't forget, the tickets at the stadium are presold for the most part, and they have cooling stations. And even so they treat about 100 people per game under these conditions for heat-related symtoms. Even though the crowds at SFCR are smaller, they're just isn't set up to do that.
