Is your racing program missing something? Can't seem to make your car faster or handle better, no matter what you do?

Do you need an engineer, but think that consultants are out of your price range?

If so, you are wrong.

I am an experienced racer, engineer, machinist, and fabricator, and I help your team go faster. I can help you make your car lighter, your chassis stiffer, and your suspension work better.

I can help you optimize your setup by modifying off-the-shelf parts, or help you custom build parts to make your package better.

Send me an email, and lets talk about how I can help you win more races.

what is your starting price

I usually quote by the job, depending on what you want/need done.

I've found that hourly rates tend to pile up a big bill a lot faster than it seems like it ought to, so the customer gets surprised (and pissed off).

Let me know what you're looking to have done (a PM or email is fine if you don't want to post it in the open), and I'll get you a rough price for the project.

The more open ended projects (I need to find time in X section of the track, help! kind of stuff) will be quoted with a start price, and then if after an agreed upon amount of time we're still working on it, I'd quote you another price for the next block of time, and so on.

Structural, chassis, and suspension geometry projects are fairly easy to price in one lump, but if track testing comes into it, things start getting too open ended to put a hard number on it at the start.

But like I said, let me know what you're looking to have done, and I'll get you a ballpark number so you can decide if you're game or not.

make the car faster

That is the general idea, yes. :D

Might need a bit more than that get you a quote though.

If you just want to have your car scaled and looked over, and you can bring your own help (IE you don't need me to provide anyone to assist us), you're looking at $200/day (for up to 8hrs).

That's at my shop in Belle, MO.

If you've got the all the setup tools and want me to come to you, the price is the same, plus $0.42/mile for the round trip.

Fabrication work must be done at my place. If it's something I can build and ship or bring up to you, we can do that to save hauling the car all over hell and gone.

Basically, every car and every driver is different, and it's very hard to say for sure what needs to be done until we can look over the package and see what's actually wrong or needs work.
