SAINTE GENEVIEVE — George "Junior" Geile, 77 , of Perryville, passed away died Saturday, February 18, 2012, at his Perryville home. He was born Saturday, January 12, 1935, at Perryville. He married Patricia (Huff) Geile on Saturday, August 25, 1990. He was a member of American Legion Post 133, Perryville; Perryville Eagles #4034; AmVets Post 113; Saline Lodge AF & AM # 226 Saint Mary; and an avid sprint car racer.
He is survived by: Wife, Patricia (Huff) Geile of Perryville; daughter, Gail Kreitler, of Sainte Genevieve; son, Brent (Christine) Geile of Sainte Genevieve; daughter, Sheri (John) Price of Bonne Terre; son, Kevin (Missy) Slinkard of Perryville; sister, Della "Sis" Kemper of Bloomsdale; sister, Glenda (Billy) Meyer of Weingarten; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: Son-in-law, Donnie Kreitler; father, George Geile Sr. and mother, Regina (Hogenmiller) Geile.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2011, at Basler Funeral Home, Ste. Genevieve. Service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Our Lady Help of Christians with Rev. William Wigand officiating. Burial will be at Our Lady Help of Christians in Weingarten. Memorials can be made to charity of choice.
