Racng legends to be honored at Paducah tonight

Paducah International Raceway will turn back time and make history as drivers from the 70s, 80s, 90's and today return in this very special evening at the famed high-bank 3/8th mile oval.

For many of the drivers and fans it will be the first time back to the raceway since it was purchased by NASCAR stars Dale Earnhardt Jr, Ken Schrader, Tony Stewart and Midwest promoter Bob Sargent. Many changes have been made to the facility that put Paducah, KY. on the racing radar with the USA World 50. Drivers who have won The USA World 50, but are not limited too, include Jeff Purvis, Kevin Claycomb, Terry English, Jerry Inmon, Tom Helfrich, Phil Gregory among others.

The Legends Of PIR are drivers who fans in the area picked as their favorite drivers growing up. Ronnie Faith, Jerry English, Melvin Woodford, Hoyt Choate, and Gary Keeling are just a few of the names that were mentioned and are expected to appear tonight.

Tickets are just $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free. Gates open at 5pm for the grandstand.
