Rained out at Highland Speedway

kudos highland speedway for taking advantage of dumb people that went. People everywhere was cancelled in the midwest but Highland. Im shure other tracks could of done the same thing but they have more respect for fans and racers. Lure fans in to spend some money knowing theres a 90 percent chance for rain on top of the mess allready.

who let this dummy in here. i guess when you leave a door open anything will walk in.:p

 I called to the track standing in the parking lot right before i bought my ticket and they told me they were racing and did not have any rain. It was raining when i called..

 I called after the called the races off and told me that my and my group that i was with our grandstand ticket would be good for any night ( like ms race , summer nats and fair night.) i would have to pay a little more becouse they raise the price. That is fine with me, I asked her if she would post it on stl racing and she told me she would, still have not seen anything yet. I hope they keep their word.

I hope we hear something from them this week about this.

YOU were one of the dumb people, WASNT YOU? and it made you mad that you didnt get your money back and you probably do not come to highland speedway very much. so to use your rainout ticket you have to show up or LOSE your MONEY. lol cry baby. have a nice day..:)

I am not his spokesman but he hurt his back in Florida during speedweeks and is still recovering last I heard.

i can understand wanting to see a race, due to the long winter, and now seemingly forever damp and cold weather, but to drive all that distance with rain almost a certainty? and to buy a ticket standing in the rain? unless i am missing something here, i can't see what anyone has to complain about.

wasn't raining when i bought my ticket.

but the sun wasn't out either and all the to mother nature other tracks fell I 'm not saying not go but you shouldn't be surprised either

i wasn't suprised. your thinking this way is confusing. i think highland did the right thing for racers and fans alike. it's their night to race and they did everything they could to get the show in. i was there i know. with my child. was i disappointed? yes. am i mad. no way. i'll use my ticket another day. and for those of u that think everyone is worried about your precious gas prices, just keep sitting on your behinds at home and leave the real racers and fans to all the fun. i'm sick of listining to people cry about the gas prices for the racers. they wouldn't be there if they didn't want to either. go to the races and support your drivers and their sponsors and the rest will take care of itself.!

Nicely put bigevil. Everyone knew there was a chance for rain and they went anyways. Nobody is to blame but yourselves. I don't blame Highland one bit for trying to get their race in, as from what I heard they aren't making any rain days up. So I don't blame them one bit. Good luck to everyone next weekend!!:D:D

Just realized I posted this under my fiances sn..Whoopsies!!
I'll just sign it my name..
