Heat Race Winners: John Shick, Brian Shaw, Randy Dowty, Ed Shamhart
B-Main Winner: Joe Bean
Feature Event:
Red Hill's first race of the season was won by a new driver to the track, Richie Lex of Morgantown, IN.
The second place finisher, Curt Rhodes of Taylorville, IL was also new to the track. Red Hill Raceway regulars Brian Shaw, Mike Bowersox, and Marty Lindeman rounded out the top five finishers.
There was one incident in the feature event involving local favorite and former UMP points champion Chad Kinder. Kinder became involved in a tangle in turn 1 which rolled the 22s, but he was unhurt and managed to drive the car off the track. There were a total of 30 Modifieds racing for the $750 regular payout.
