John Barr passed away this evening. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Trashdog was a great friend and race photographer. He will be greatly missed.

RIP Trashdog. We will miss you tremendously. I have many fond memories of his race reports back in the day here on Stlracing.com. The MSD box and the Missouri Sewer District post is a forever classic. I'm glad I got to see him 4 times this last week. Sadly the 4th time was tonight. I made it to see him about 15 min before he passed. I will say I told him the Saint Louis racing family loves him. RIP big guy...

John was a good friend and will be missed. There are many memories and even more pictures he gave us to remember him by. Doing the photos at Montgomery and at Callaway he got a lot of good shots of us and we had many good conversation. I remember him being excited about going to China just like it was yesterday. Then so happy to be back. Seeing him this summer was such a treat, just hard to imagine him never being back.
Trashdog will forever be remembered by the Westlings.

He was truly one of the greats in my racing world. He had the most amazing imagination, phenomenal memory about racing facts and people, and he was one of the funniest men around. He took great pictures, probably hundreds of which I bought and scrapbooked over the years. He made stlracing.com a fun place to visit and posted some of the most hilarious threads ever. I am proud to say he was a good friend and racing buddy. Cummins Racing will dearly miss him. Our prayers to his family. Our thoughts are with them and with all of his racing friends. Rest in peace Trashdog.
