DOE RUN, MO--(May 2, 2003) Multi driver Tyler Robbins is used to long drives on Friday evenings. He and his crew travel from Illinois to Doe Run, MO and back almost every Friday evening just to race at Doe Run Raceway. What makes that long trip worth the effort? Going home a feature winner. And that's exactly what Robbins and crew did this past Friday night.

Robbins took command of the race in it's early stages and despite intense pressure from Derek O'Dell and Timmy Moss, was able to hang on for the win. O'Dell finished in second, Moss third, Joey Montgomery fourth and Dustin Barks in the fifth spot.

Moss won the first heat followed by Montgomery, Tommy Boyd, Matt Dotson and Jeremy Boyer. Paul Cain returned to action after his nasty crash opening night and picked a win in the second heat. Cain was followed by Robbins, O'Dell, Barks and Junior Ferguson. Moss won the dash with Robbins second and Montgomery third.

In the dwarf car class, Todd Williams held off hard charging Vince Conway to pick up his second win of the season with Steve Copeland in third. Glenn Province finished an impressive fourth after starting in the 11th position and Bobby Black came from 9th to finish 5th. Sam Layton won the first heat, Robert Halbrook second, Copeland third, Mike Province fourth and Dom Wadlow fifth. Williams was the winner of the second heat, Ron Wadlow second, Conway third, Mike Zaricor fourth and Chad Browers fifth.

Mini Stock action saw Eric Bellew holding off Ron Moser to gain the victory. Carl Bellew finished in third, Chuck White in fourth and Chris Pettus in fifth. Moser won the heat race followed by Eric Bellew, White, Pettus and Mike Whitehead.

Michael Harp picked up his second feature win of the season in the Super Stock Kart class. Wayne Arnold finished in second and Dalton Radford third. Radford followed Harp across the line in the heat race with Arnold third.

Landon Barks came from the 7th starting position to pick up the win in the Stock Kart class. Braydon Wright was second, Wayne Arnold third, Mason Oberkramer fourth and Brad Paquet fifth. Wright won the heat race with Oberkramer second and Paquet third.
