Roll Call For Frostbuster 50 LM & USMTS Modifieds (Tri-City Friday, April 10th) - Babb, Birky, O'Nea

everthing priced high?

the price of food isn"t anything compared to what insurance, utilities, payroll, cost of preparing track, etc. That 10.000 to win is only 1 car ,there are 17 to 20 others in that race that have to be paid too. Plus the mods,2,000 to win then the others. Kevin and Tammy and their staff work very hard to put these shows on,check out the T.V. ad. on SPEED,THAT AIN'T FREE. The racing at Tri-City is some of the best ,and you get every pennies worth , so pay an extra buck and come out and enjoy yourself. Are go to the show and see how CHEAP that is.Anyway hope to see everyone at the races. GO 49.

i have never been disappointed for a $10,000 to win race even paying to see the best dirt late models there. as long as there is good racing, i don't care about the admission price.

Roll Call For Frostbuster 50 LM & USMTS Modifieds (Tri-City Friday, April 10th)

As long as the weather holds out here in the MidWest (we will keep our fingers crossed) this race will be a GREAT one to watch.

Kevin & Tammy have demonstrated time and time again this track is one of the BEST in the Midwest! This track asks more out of the driver and his set up than others you will vist in the area. The speed down those long straightaways says it all. It's not every track that can still have a good show even when we get 7 plus inches of rain during the week. A GREAT example is the Lucus Oil show last year. OOPS, my mistake and thanks goes to Jmcgrew47 for catching it since the race I'm referring to was the UMP Summer Nationals and not the Lucus Oil event. As he recalls "I can remember seeing a lake on the infield." Most of the other tracks would have called it because of the floods.
Someone tell me where can you go for $25.00 and be intertained for 5 plus hours this day and age. You are there because you want to be otherwise you would be home and wouldn't know any different......?
It just keeps getting better & better, read the roll call. .......Let's GO RACING.......>

USMTS entry fee is $90 pre-entry or $100 day of race entry.

USMTS license is $150. Pre-entry fee would then be $80.

If you finish in positions 4-11th in the feature, the payoff is $100 more for being a licensed member. Positions 12-14th are $125 more for licensed members. Positions 16th-24th pays $50 more for licensed members.

Remember, this is USMTS fees and payoff.

I think you are referring to the UMP Summer Nationals race last year. I can remember seeing a lake on the infield.

What I do not get is the racing has not started and we are slammin the tracks already. You have a choice --- either go or stay home ! But to BASH is just ludicrous. GO or STAY HOME bottom line!!!!!!!
Heck I'd pay 25.00 to go see Brent and Patti and Emily and Shannon !!!!!! :D

Don't blame Tri-City the entry fee goes to USMTS.
And if I'm reading it right your guaranteed to make all but $15 of it back.

As for the liscense deal, if you are going to run 2 or more shows this year you will get your liscense back in additional pay out.

I agree on that one. The fact is with the cost of traveling and up keep of tracks and what it cost just to be apart of this sport now a days that is the norm now. To get big names to come to your town to race someone has to pay. Most people pay that to go out of town to see them race plus the extra cost for a hotel and gas. Heck be happy it's right here at home. :D Sooner or later our local tracks will most likely charge more to get in and to race. What are you going to do then? Give up on a sport you truly love?

That final piece of information makes it sound much better. I was originally unaware of the guarenteed $75. This should be a great show afterall :)
