Pevely, MO (April 12, 2003) A stellar field of 36 U.M.P. Modifieds came out for the $1,000 to win special at I-55 Raceway. However, it was the defending track champion, Scott Weber that led all twenty laps and took the victory. Last week's winner Ray Walsh kept the pressure on Weber but had to settle for second. Dennis Richards had a very strong run to finish third. Dan Hamstra came from the ninth starting position to claim fourth and Rusty Griffaw moved up from his fifteenth starting spot to round out the top five.
