Scott Weber's Feature Win Sunday Night

Does anyone know what Scotty was upset about
after he's feature win? I say him and Revin
having words.
 
I heard Scott say in his victory lane interview that the officials were concerned with him driving through mud on his way to the scales. I assume that they thought he was trying to get mud to stick to the car to add weight (it's an old trick that I have seen done before, thus my assumption). They stopped him before the scales and made him scrape off the mud. Once across the scales he made weight so I don't think Scott meant any funny business. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, because I could be. I have no official word on this. I said before I'm assumiing. That's just how I took it by listening to Scott's interview.

Havent drivers been doing that for years?? I've never seen them have to scrape the mud off!!! LOL they wont teck cars but run through the mud and your in big trouble mister!! LMFAO
 
There is quite a weight difference between Weber and Korte... but I believe that the crew knows enough to make up for that. Weber is not that stupid... if he is going to try and cheat, I gaurantee it will be a whole lot less obvious than that.

I wouldn't put it past him to do something intentional like that just to mess with people's minds and to cause a stir, but come on... he's not THAT stupid.

Like him or not, you can't question his ability to drive. I don't think he would need to cut the weight difference THAT CLOSE that a little bit of mud would make a difference.

If this really happened, the track crew should apologize to Weber and his crew for such nonsense.
 
I think many of you might be surprised how close a lot of cars are when they roll across the scales. There are several that roll across the scales only a few pounds (many single digits) above the weight limit.

The above is the first line of this thread. The replies after started the mud theory. Just ask for Revin to answer
the first thread as to what the broohaha was all about. Whatever!

Situation is over and this was a conversation with Kevin & Scotty.. Scotty missed family dinner last Sunday
and Kevin was upset
 
Come on people how many dam times has scott plainly kicked *** and crossed the dam scales wtf my opinion nobody like a winner congrats scott and crew you have had a he!! Of a year and deserve it your my hero scott good job!!!!
 
if he did need mud to make weight so driver do you all time does tri city have a rule on it ask revin as a driver did he do that before (yes) good season scotty

And I've seen almost every driver who has won in a LM or Mod do this. First time I've heard them called out on it.. I think it's kinda funny!
