The recent string of snow and cold weather may make it seem like the upcoming race season is further away than ever, but that couldn't be further from the truth. The 2003 Sedalia's State Fair Speedway racing season will be upon us before we know it and everyone at the track is even more excited this year to get back to the track than in years past.

The 2003 Sedalia's State Fair Speedwway information meeting will be held on Saturday, January 18, in the Youth Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds beginning at 10:00 am. Topics to be covered will be rules updates, the 2003 racing format and a schedule review. Also on tap will be discussions on how drivers and teams can work with the media as well as marketing ideas for your race team. The 2003 rulebooks will also be available for pickup and drivers will have the chance to pre-reigster for the 2003 season. Refreshements will also be served. Now is the time to get registered for the upcoming 2003 race season. Registering early allows you a decreased registration fee as well as a better chance at your requested car number. The registration form is now available at the website. You can print the registration form out and fill it out. This year you can also fill out the form before printing it out. Simply open the form and click in the fields that you are filling out. You can type in all of your information and then print the form and it will all be done. On January 25 & 26, 2003 the Bodee's Racer's Auction & Trade Show will be held in the Agriculture Building of the Missouri State Fairgrounds. The doors will open at 8:00 am each day with the auction beginning at 9:30 am. This has become one of the best auctions around and one that you don't want to miss.
