You all have been asking for your chance to run I-55 so here it is! Working together with Highland Speedway we have added the B-Mod/Sport mods to the show. The class will run under Highlands rules.
Headlining will be the AARA/UMP Sportsman Plus AARA/UMP Pure/Street Stocks, AARA/UMP Pro 4 Stocks
UMP Super Late Models, UMP Modifieds & UMP Sportmods.

Run Tri-City's b-mod rules! They've gotten 30 cars the last 2 years with those rules! It'll help car count for sure!

Don, I have a question. I will in no way hold your feet to the fire. Do we have any idea what the payout might be??? I don't want to pressure Ray as I understand those lights are expensive to keep on. :D

Tri city runs a more open rule. Steel block/heads, flat Tappet cam, 500 2 bbl Holley carb, can run Bert transmission and 4 link. Same rules Montgomery ran, lake Ozark, Fulton, Farmington, Doe Run all run.

I do belive up north some tracks allow quick changes..Fayette co.. has rules very close to highlands....the compition is real close,,no e=85

farmington cars go to granite and they get twenty cars everyweek at farmington ,Doe Run,Benton, and Farmington rules are most popular for this area they have been established for years.JMO and no you cannot run berts and brinns under these rules

I think they should go by Benton rules. It would allow pretty much any type of b-mod to run. They give weight breaks for 3 link and 360 CID motors. Unlimited cubic inch with 4 link must weigh 2650#. I think these rules would get the most cars there and be a great show.

I have no dog in the fight so really it doesn't matter, but who in the world thought unlimited inch motors with four link is a b-mod. If you have a good Willy's 2 bbl you've basically purchased a four barrel. And just like that an a-mod. Dumb rules. I hope they at least look different.

We run 9 inch rear ends at Fulton. Tri-City's rules would be the simplest to even everyone up and let some new guys come run. Loved racing at Tri-city, always wanted to come run pevely, hope u guys give us a chance to come!

At Benton b mods with a 602 crate must weigh 2400# with a 360 rule they must weigh 2450# and with unlimited cubic inch they must weigh 2650#. There is a 50# weight break for cars running 3 link no matter which engine option you are running.

This is probably why it's so hard to get tracks to have them.....a bunch of different rules that no one can agree on.

I like the bmod class and would have been interested in it but its basically the same deal as the sportsman with the rules.

Maybe UMP could help? Haha

What happened to the Sportsman nationals being the first week of October. Oh well looks like another year that all my crew will miss out again,
