I missed late model qualifying.

Modified 1: p51, 64, 01, 33, schwartz, 7s, 22, 22, 87, 117
Modified 2: 10, 37, 87, spatola, 23t, g Taylor, d Taylor, 10k, 48
Modified 3: 17, 18, hancock, 40, 64l, 5, 05, 66t, 18

sorry, don't know many of these guys...
 
My phone is slow so i'll only be doing late models and mods unless someone wants sportsmans or hornets.
 
Late model 1:
lineup: 28e, 55, 7b, b8, b12, 40, 82, 57, 38l
result: erb, 8, bergtorf, weaver, vanwormer, 82, 40, little, 57

Lineup incorrect...jeep pulled off. Shift everyone in the inside up.

Race took 38 minutes. Sportsmen next, then late models.

notes: vanwormer, hammerlee, and 82 got provisionals. Green dropped at 10:20. Checkered dropped at 10:36. D8 barrel rolled pretty violently on lap 17. walked away ok.

Gary Cook Jr was bad fast in the modifieds.

what was the deal with Leka being in a late model? was this a one-time deal or is this something he's trying out?

I was glad there was a caution(unfortunately a red) to re-bunch the field. Babb had run away with things and it allowed Erb to put some pressure on him. Korte really moved through the field...would have been interesting to see what he could have done with another 10 laps.

It is a shame that Korte was held up for nearly 10 laps early on. He had to run erb and babb down in the final laps and just ran short. Can't say if he would have been able to push babb and erb off the cushion but you are right, it sure would've been great to see with even another 5 laps.
 
:cool:As for Jeff Leka in the late model, they are just playing around a bit....
he was in it last Friday at Farmer City also....:)
