Skip Rose Memorial starts Memorial Weekend at I-35

MASON CITY, Iowa (May 22) – IMCA Modifieds chase a $1,000 top prize and all weekly divisions are in action when I-35 Speedway starts the Memorial Weekend with its annual Skip Rose Memorial on Sunday, May 29.
In addition to the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying payout for the Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods all run for $500 to win and all applicable points.
Pit gates at Mason City open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. with racing to follow. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for youngsters five and under. Pit passes are $25.
All four sanctioned divisions return to the track on Memorial Day Monday, May 30 when I-35 hosts the second installment of the JR Motorsports Hawkeye Dirt Tour.
