Some video of the push truck flip

So after seeing several videos and hearing people's report...that's a beer can rolling down the track from the push truck! Wht kibd of show are these people running? This aint a side show of U.M.P is it???

Well, there IS a cooler laying there upside down behind the push truck. May have come out of there, doesn't mean the guy driving was drinking.

Dirtboy.. there were water bottles and Arizona tea bottle that came out of the cooler that was in the push truck..

Why do people always assume something ignorant?

He had pushed off the sprint car and as they went down the back stretch, he wasn't expecting the sprint car to exit the track. He expected the sprint car to continue around the track since they were pushing off heat race 4.

You just want to get a jab in to UMP I suppose, especially since UMP doesn't sanction sprint cars or any other class that was racing this night.

Wow, the potential was there for someone to get seriously injured, and dirtboy is on here cracking jokes and making digs at UMP. That was a scary accident, the video says enough there. And I can understand the cooler being on the truck, after all, these people are going to be working all night long in the heat and humidity, they probably did more work in one night then you did all week, dirt-fink.

Jimmy, awesome job. I love how you ran up to see if there was anything you could do, and once you seen everything was ok, you stepped back to get out of the way and snap some pictures. Priorities first!

Right on. Like Jimmy said UMP had nothing to do with that night. ts was a MOWA oush vehicle that is used alot. Im assuming noone told him why that one needed pushed but if you watch those guys they push then hurry to get another as the heat was being lined up. Just a lucky deal. And yes it was bottles of water and tea only.

As Jimmy D. said.... I expected the car to continue on, as he had already dropped to the middle of the track, which is common practice after being pushed off. I was on the gas going down the backstretch against the wall, staying out of the way as Jeremy dropped down, and then suddenly he turned right to exit the track.. I had no idea he didnt have a hood on as I couldnt see it when I pushed. He had no idea where I was, in relation to him, and he would have had no idea of what was about to happen... There was no way I could have seen his hand signalling as I was above him on the track. I admit I was very angry when it happened.. I have just never had anyone drop that far down and then exit the track...My anger was misdirected, and Im truly sorry if I was overheard saying anything out of character, or durogatory. This accident was just that, and it was unfortunate both vehicles were damaged, Jeremys severely from what I heard.. which caused him not to be able to compete the remainder of the evening. Nothing frustrates a racer more than that....While it was avery bad instance, it could have been so much worse than it was..the female passenger in the push truck could have been severely injured if it had not unfolded as it did..Simply put...No matter your personal belief..God deserves the credit for protection in this case.. we all walked away. Very well said littlt302, as a push truck driver myself this will be on my mind every time I push off..
