St. Francois County Raceway Results of May 15

FARMINGTON, Mo. -- (May 15, 2004) Joey Montgomery of Fredericktown picked up his first sprint car feature win of the season Saturday night at the St. Francois County Raceway. Alex Shanks captured second place with Timmy Montgomery third, Jimmy Hurley fourth and Steve Short fifth. They were followed by Jeff Davis, Derek O'Dell, Bryan Matthews, Timmy Moss and Bob Thoman. Tommy Worley Jr. won the first heat race with Joey Montgomery second and Short third. Shanks won the second heat with Kent Buckley second and Davis third. Hurley won heat three with Adler second and Kenny Hambrick third. Hurley won the trophy dash with Joey Montgomery second and Worley third. Jason Hunt won the "B" main with Moss second and Jason Keith third.

In the Modified class, Kenny Kennedy of Farmington held off the charge of Billy "The Kid" Smith to pick up the checkered flag in the feature. Smith held on for second place with Timmy Hill third, Danny Resinger fourth and Adam Parmley fifth. They were followed by Mike Crader, Brad Long, Lou Driemeier, John Bohn and Kevin Hulsey. Mike Francis won the first heat with Hill second and Resigner third. Kennedy won the second heat with Smith second and Long third. Tommy Worley Sr. won the third heat with Dean Resinger second and Crader third. Bohn won the "B" main with Driemeier second and Mitch Parmely third.

In the Sportsmen class, Doug Savage of Farmington picked up the checkered flag with Chuck Adams second, Kevin Mosier third, Matt Eaton fourth and Kasey Nations fifth. They were followed by Mark Howell, Randy Forster, Greg Stumbaugh, Billy Mayberry and Leonard Betch. Savage won the first heat with Howell second and Adams third. Mosier won the second heat with Nations second and Foster third.

In the 600cc Multi class, Junior Ferguson of Farmington picked up his first win of the season in the feature with Casey Barnhouse second, Shawn Merritt third, Jeremy Boyer fourth and David Chilton fifth. They were followed by Rodney Williams, Jake Bess, Brandon Nixon, Zach Schneider and Steve Harris. Merritt won the first heat with Barnhouse second and Williams third. Ferguson won the second heat with Bess second and Ronnie Hartley Jr. third.

The RAMS Mini Stocks were also on hand Saturday night and Chris Boyd drove the #5x to victory with Rick Ruch taking second place, Marty Boyer third, Jon Paul Reando fourth and Shannon Burch fifth. They were followed by Steve Spencer, Dave Wofford, Jason Harper and Joe Ketcherside.
