FARMINGTON, Mo. -- (February 5, 2005) A total of 62 people showed up for the annual St. Francois County Raceway's rules meeting Saturday at the Ponderosa Restaurant in Farmington. There were a few issues discussed for possible change but there were very few changes made.
One item that came up and was approved by management was racers and their crews being able to change a tire UNDER YELLOW in both heat races and the features. However, the tires MUST be changed at the scales only.

In the Sportsmen class, competitors may run a 360 (max.) engine and they can use aftermarket heads. Aluminum flywheels are also allowed.

In the Modifieds, IMCA rules allow cars to weigh up to 2,450 pounds. This year the track will allow aluminum heads, Brin bellhousing, and after-market lower "A" arms, but they must add 50 pounds from the motor plate forward. Aluminum roofs are also allowed this year.

No changes were made at all in 600cc multis, sprints or pure streets classes.
