Stacker 2 M.a.r.s. Super Late Models Headed To Poplar Bluff Speedway

Batesville, Arkansas (July 13, 2005) –The stars and cars of the Stacker 2 Mid America Racing Series (M.A.R.S.) are prepared to thunder into action at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri this Saturday, July 16th.

After thirteen events there have been seven different winners on the tour, and Wendell Wallace from Batesville, Arkansas sits at the top of the point’s standings. Jack Sullivan, Terry Phillips, Jeff Floyd, and Bill Frye round out the top five in points and will all be looking to make up ground on the leader at this weekend’s event. Other entries expected for this Saturday include Gary Stolba, Justin Wells, Joey Mack, Dane Dacus, Steve Rushin, Brandon McCormick, Dewaine Hottinger, Jordan Jones, Billy James and many more stars of the Midwest.

The event on Saturday, July 16 th will pay $3,000 to the winner and $500 just to start for the Stacker 2 Mid America Racing Series Super Late Models. Gates open at 4:00 pm with racing action at 7:00 pm. Adult grandstand admission is $30 with kids 6-11 years of age $8, and 5 and under free. Pit admission is $30. Open Wheel Modifieds, Super Streets, Pure Streets, Cruisers, and Dwarf Cars will also be in action on the program.
