By Michael Despain

The second season for the STARS Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts will wrap with back to back to events this Friday and Saturday, October 3 and 4. On Friday Night, October 3 the series heads to the Legendary Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY for a $3000 to win event. The "John Bradshaw Memorial Fall Classic" race will pay tribute to the person who turned around the fortunes of the speedway this year as the fans and drivers pay tribute to Mr. Bradshaw, the man who became the promoter at the start of the 2003 racing season and passed away in June. There will be a complete show for the STARS Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series on Friday Night, October 3 at the Ponderosa Speedway with Racing Optics/Bullzilla Graphics Time Trials, Heat Races, AFCO B-Mains and the 40 lap main event. Gates will open at 4 pm with time trials at 7:30 pm. The track phone number on race day is (859) 854-6808.
