State Pond Speedway is located in Jonesboro, IL.

They are about 2.5 miles west of Jonesboro on 146. You turn off of 146 onto State Pond Road. Then you make a quick left and you run right beside the track. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking for trailers too! Only about 30-45 minutes from Cape Girardeau, MO.

I have a Light. brought it down saturday. had a box stock, which there aint enough, so i an gonna make another light. c u guys this saturday.
 
So Miller, What did you think of the track? How many showed up?

We wanted to come down badly, but with work and ball season, things just got too tight on time.
 
Track

I will say that the track is fast for the design of it. The front stretch is going down hill and has tight turns and the back stretch is going up hill. I got there late and started in the back and won the first heat. But mother nature did not want to play right and opened up on us. LOL Wish the track was closer.

I like the track. i raced at it last year in the box stock class, but they done away with it this year, and i wanted to race lights last year anyway. so i built me a light and got two more to build. c ya there

If we came over to race in a couple weeks, they would let Brangon run in the purple 14 yr old gas class? since they dont have a jr gold. Or he would even like to run lights, but he's only 13 yrs old. 14 in November. Just trying to figue a way for him to race different tracks. Its a long drive over there and dont want to waist a trip. Let me know of ANY class he might be able to run Thank you.

Just want to let you know that I have read this. I will try talk to the track officials tonight and get back with you hopefully tomorrow. We have church tonight, so I will try to call before or after. I totally understand the fuel concern! Brandon is a good driver and I'll vouch for him and see what we can do. :)

Is that gold, gas or alcohol? also how many usally in that class? Can Brandon run that class at the age of 13?
He is a good clean driver.( he has to be or he gets pulled off the track and doesn't race) Thanks for info
 
Light class you have to be 16 or older.There are a couple classes for kids to run in cause one of my friends runs in one.Hey brother get your own name on here man.Stop using mine.I got this for stock car racing even though i race go karts.Peace.Wont be racing for awhile having to redo hole *** end of go kart.Catch you in a couple weeks guys.
