Stremme & Strickler crash video

Looks like the 8 car hit the wall with the right rear and pushed him down to where the 35 car was. Tight tight racing and stremme even lifted as to try to keep off of him

You can even see him at the last couple of seconds steering left to try to get away. He knew what was going to happen. 8 car just out himself in a spot that wasnt there....yet

Strickler never hit the wall.
This was a clean slide job.
You want to see a dirty slide job.
Go find the video of Pierce putting a slider on Bloomquist at the 2016 North/South 100.
Stremme crossed over and stuffed him.
There are 2 videos of the accident.
Stremme's in car camera and a video from the stands.
Already talked with the driver of the 8.
Me and my friend Richie are on a first name basis with Kyle as he is a good friend and we have helped him on numerous occasions.
If you look an the reaction of the car from both videos.
David never lifted.
They where 1/2 way down the back strait when it happened not in the corner.
Go watch the other video.
This one doesn't do the ordeal justice.
Out of the 30 or so times I've see David race I've never been impressed and out of the 40+ times I've seen Kyle race in person it's the exact opposite.
Kyle is light years ahead of David in terms of over all talent.

This is the reason why we cannot allow tracks to develop multiple grooves and passing. It triggers people to freak out when something doesn't go right

single file is the way to go. This would of been prevented with freight train racing.

Stlrickler did hit the wall just before the crash. Incar video clearly shows his right rear hit the wall and caused him to come down. Stremme also let off as soon as the 8 car was beside him as if he knew it was a bad idea. Slow the video down and it cleatly shows this

Heres what I see/hear.

At 19-21 Strickler slides across Stremme's nose and to his outside.
At 21-22 Stremme stays inside coming off the corner and pulls up right alongside Strickler due to momentum but Stremme is not hard on the throttle, it sounds like he is half pedaling it to keep momentum
At 22-23 he picks up the throttle slightly to stay with Strickler and his car pushes just a touch up the track toward Strickler and Stremme's RF hits Strickler's LF and lifts it (you can see this contact because it causes Strickler's LF to jerk in a left turn way in the video). This contact causes Strickler to rebound into the wall then back into Stremme
At 23-24 Strickler's driver side and LF is now half up on Stremme's car because of the rebound off the wall caused by Stremme hitting him
Around 24-26 Stremme is hard on the throttle and lifts Strickler up onto his nose.
At 28 both cars come to a stop.
At 44 Strickler is in the window letting Stremme know what a &^$%*#())@((& he is for being an ignorant moron who wrecked both of them. (I think he needs to work on his extraction time, I bet 16 seconds in a fire is a long time to get out of the car....)

Bottom line Stremme could have lifted, let Strickler get clear in front then continued to race him in the next corner. Instead he chose to stuff him in the wall. And I don't see any reason why Strickler would have got out of the car all bent out of shape if he had hit the wall on his own and then bounced off Stremme. In that event it would be "crap man, sorry, I just got a little too far up the track and smacked the wall"

So basically that's just a long drawn out way of saying "Yeah....what Rusty said." :)

Oh.. and there's no ball cupping here at all. I could are less about either personally. And this video shows a whole different angle than the Grandstand view. If you just watch the grandstand view it looks like Strickler hits the wall then comes back onto Stremme on his own. But when you watch the in car from Stremme, you see clearly see the first contact is when Stremme hits the throttle slightly to race Strickler off the corner but that pushes him up into Strickler, which is what causes Strickler to hit the wall.

In some ways it's just two guys going for the same turf and neither wanting to give each other an inch of room for error, too. I think Stremme is at fault, but it really is a racing thing too.

watched both videos and no doubt Stremme stuffed him on purpose..David bitching that he ran his same line..well ya can't run the same line you been running when someone slide jobs ya and is up top..he should"ve stayed down and raced him down the backstretch clean
