Sunoco® Road to Wheatland Program Heads to Iowa and Illinois this Weekend, then it's the DART Show-

Corona, CA (May 20, 2010) - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the "Sunoco Road to Wheatland" program continues this weekend in Iowa and Illinois before finishing at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland MO next weekend at the DART Show-Me 100. The series will travel to the Midwest this Friday and Saturday with a pair of $10,000 to win events on the schedule. On Friday Night, May 21st the series for the first time will visit 34 Raceway in Burlington, IA and on Saturday Night, May 22nd the LOLMDS comes to La Salle Speedway in La Salle, IL for the Annual Spring Shootout.

The Sunoco Road to Wheatland Program pays the top ten drivers in the final 2009 Lucas Oil Championship Points Standings who maintain perfect attendance during the 2010 "Road to Wheatland" $700. Also receiving winners circle money, will be the top ten highest drivers in 2010 Lucas Oil Championship Points with perfect attendance; these drivers will also receive the $700 in "Road to Wheatland" Winners Circle money. So far in 2010 there are twenty (20) drivers that have maintained perfect attendance through last weekend's series event in Virginia.

The series will conclude the Sunoco Road to Wheatland Program the following weekend at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo for the $30,000 to win DART Show-Me 100. Sunoco Race Fuels has also added a special $2,000 bonus for any driver that wins the DART Show-Me 100 and maintained perfect attendance leading to the event and uses Sunoco Race Fuel in his racecar exclusively. Drivers eligible for the special Sunoco bonus award include, Earl Pearson Jr., Dale McDowell, Don O'Neal, Steve Casebolt, Brad Neat, Chris Wall and Bub McCool.

In addition to the Sunoco Race Fuels $2,000 cash bonus at the DART Show-Me 100 the series and Sunoco have put together a separate Sunoco point's fund category to award points to drivers using Sunoco Race Fuels at each event. At the end of the year the driver earning the most Sunoco Race for Gas Points will be awarded $3,000 cash award and the runner up will receive $1,000 cash award at the year end banquet.
