SUPER ShepP VS ERB

I hope Brandon just keeps doing what he's been doing and does not inherit his dad's ON TRACK antics, I went five straight nights finishing up at Macon last night and it seemed like Steve was in some sort of drama 3 of those nights, and this guy is a track promoter!?!?!?!?!?

Peoria was the start in my opinion, then obvious at Highland, last night at Macon he swerved at Rodney when he came back around after Shep spun becasue Shep tried to pass under the infield tires! I don't know Shep personally and he seems like a good guy from seeing him talk to others in recent days, but for a promoter to be acting like that, I have to question that one.

Sam needs to get things in order before summer nat's becomes a circus, this thing is too strong and has been going for a long time for a few things as ignorant at what I saw transpire to ruin it.

Just my opinion.

Thats what the summernationals has always been, a traveling circus. Local drivers having their time in the limelight for thirty days. The circus travels for thirty days to mostly outdated fairground tracks where outdated locals come out of the woodwork for a night of UMP drama. Theirs only a handfull out of the 25 or so that they race at that are actually good competitive tracks. Hardly any of those tracks get anything bigger than the summernationals. Those tracks arent as worried about the track prep as they should be. They get out the old water truck and go to town, yee haw. That will make people happy, right?

deliveryguy, why don't you just go park your butt at Indy and wait for next Memorial Day? If you can't say anything decent, nice, or half-way constructive about any of our local tracks, then stay off the internet and stlracing.com and go watch the SPEED channel. I know there's some British dude on there who talks about "...competitive side-by-side motoring" that should just thrill you to pieces. Geez, you don't even enjoy dirt-track racing!

What you folks need to understand is that the "circus" aspect of UMP Summer Nationals is a major part of why it's so interesting. The same core of guys are on the road traveling every day to race every night. At times, the weather is sweltering hot. Racecars are showing signs of the grind. Drivers are at their wits end. Something has to give! That's why we watch so closely. UMP Summer Nationals are very unpredictable. Sometimes crazy things happen.

It's called "The Hell Tour" for a reason.
