Sweeney and Everett win twice at Clarksville

In the Mid-Season Championship for the Open Wheel Modified Randle Sweeney won the race. After two restarts and then eventually a single file restart, Sweeney battled Charles Zimmerman for the lead throughout the race and won the Open Wheel featured race. Randle Sweeney also won the Late Model feature race as he led wire to wire for his second victory of the evening.
In the Mid-Season Championship race for the Outlaw Mini Sprints Josh Clark turned in a dominant race and took the checkered flag. Chris Hunter took second place after starting in row five.
The Street Feature race Don Everett passed Neal Grisham coming out of turn two with one lap to go and was able to hold on for the victory. Everett had to overcome several yellow flags for his first victory of the night.
Everett?s second victory of the night in the Pro Street Feature, he had to battle Larry Hamm for the victory. Everett was able to stretch his lead and secure the victory when Hamm got held up by the lapped traffic.
The Mini Mod feature race showcased a photo finish as Ronnie Richardson was leading throughout the race he had the misfortune of a flat tire coming out of turn four and was unable to hold of Micah Smith down the finish. Smith won the race in what was the closest finish of the evening.
The Pure Mini Stock featured race was won by Micheal Perrigo as Michael ?Goober? Rittenberry took second and Christopher Perrigo finished in third.
