Congratulations to Terry Labonte and the entire hendrick team for a sweep of Darlington. Great run in the Busch race by Brian Vickers yesterday. #5 cars rule at the lady in black.

156 races since his last win and at the age of 46 years old Terry Labonte and his team were able to bring it home first. Terry Labonte, what a class act. How about the Saturday night style victoy lap (Terry ask for and received the checker flag). Terry carried the checker flag (Union 76 checker, last year for union 76) for the complete victory lap. The last victory lap that Darlington will see on Labor Day (Thanks to NASCAR's changing ways).
Again congrats to the complete #5 TEAM and Terry.

Been at Labonte fan since 84. Was glad to see him back in victory lane!!! Now we need to get Awesome Bill back there.
 
It hasn't been too long since Awesome Bill got a win, we need for Schrader to get there again though.

Do you know what I thought was so cool of Terry to do?

When he got the checkered flag, he didn't do one of those stupid "high school" burn-outs, ruining his tires and creating a whole lot of smoke in front of a small group of people. No--he took the flag, turned the car around and drove facing the stands and all of the fans watching for him. What a terrific jesture! Just like the old times, when the winners weren't the young punks of today!

Congrats Terry Labonte! What a man!

And his interview on Speed Vision (our favorite channel) was intelligent, articulate, and he's just a super nice guy!
