Thanks to Kevin and Tammy for holding such as awesome race. Mark Oller pocketed a cool $3700.
You guys got burned last year by the weather but still took the risk again this year.

Very nice job by all the TCS folks!

yea, except for my prize money being held for fines that another racer owed. I'm very Dissapointed in the way things were handled Tammy. I'll be in touch!

It was a good show, but it was rather long. Need to think about opening up a little earlier as the line trying to get in was very long before the pit gates opened. Getting over at 2:00 A.M. is a long night.
Four classes with over 150 cars is a lot of racing, but it was a Saturday night.

Shane, are you being fined for not babysitting the guys in the pits? from what i understand you aren't responsible for what others do. but maybe others think you should be. wheres the reasoning in this. of course I support Shane in this.

The rules clearly state that: All drivers are responsible for their crew members actions. Shane and crew are not the first to be fined for fighting in the pits this year.

yea, the rule also clearly states that any driver fined will be notified of the fine and informed of any action made, which is nowwhere near what happened.

I talked to both Kevin and Tammy after the incident inwhich neither one said anything about me being fined, matter of fact, Kevin asked for my address so he could send my prize money from the night of the incident. Now, I get to the payout window after the Fall Nats, to pick up my $450 prize money, money I made after bringing 5 people with me, paying an entry fee, buying $300 in tires and parts from the track, eating too many hot dogs, and racing my *** off for the fans in the seats, only to find a $50 dollar check waiting for me. Lady at the window said those were for fines that I owed from a night I drove a totally different teams car in which their owner got into it with a crew member of another team who came to our pit which was along way away from theirs to start trouble, Noone from our pit ever stepped out of our pit. Now, I understand rules, but when I didnt do anything, and I'm driving a totally different car, thats not right. The very LEAST they(KEVIN, TAMMY ,SEAN) could have done was inform me of the penalty like there RULEBOOK clearly states!!! But I feel they waited so that they could draw another entry fee, more pitpass money and etc.......

What if I had been driving for someone other than myself which has happened numerous times this year, If I was the owner who brought a car, only to find no money at the end of the night, I'd have been furious!!!!

Kevin please contact me or pm me a number to reach you before this gets out of hand

what about the other situation

Earlier in the year when there were a couple of altercations at TCS both parties were fined, only those teams really know for sure, and placed on probation I thought.

If this situation was the same, and handled the same way, then yes you should have been told in advance. I do not think that Kevin & Tammy bushwhacked you into coming back just to get your fines from your race winnings.

This should be handled by Sean, and any other representatives from CARS that need to step up.

The only way to solve these issues and keep them from happening is making people think before doing something that hurts their team, and if it takes fines, police, suspensions or whatever...it should be done to keep the sport respectable and moving in the right direction.

I applaud people like Kevin and Tammy for standing up for their track and it patrons in making those that start, end or encite problems/fights/etc to pay the price and hopefully think twice about doing such actions again.

...Need to think about opening up a little earlier as the line trying to get in was very long before the pit gates opened. ..

The actual line for cars to pit was long, caused a lot by drivers and entire teams leaving the vehicle to go get their pit passes. If only they could leave 1 person in the hauler to keep the line moving, it would have helped.

Since you put it out their for everyone to wonder and ask.

Early in the evening prior to knowing what really happen you spoke with
Kevin (not me) regarding that evenings pay.

Our rules states that the Driver is responsible for his actions, crews, family anyone who causes a confrontation the driver holds full responsibility for. This results in a $500 fine.

This matter was discussed again on Monday and agreed by C.A.R.S and
Tri-City Speedway

Crew members went to Jail that evening and I would say that was pretty serious. If you want to race than race if you want to fight don't do it
at Tri-City.

There has been NO question throughout the year on the fines or the ruling for fighting. Fines have been issued throughout the year. The drivers paid them took full responsibility for their actions or their crews and went on.

Theres no gray areas for discussion.

Fight! Pay the fine
