The Championship Late Association DIRTcar Northern & Southern Series are ready to kick off their season opener and inaugural run at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Wednesday, March 7th during NASCAR week. The Championship Late Model Association will be taking on the stars of the West Coast Late Model Shootout. The intensity is high as the two series will go head to head for the first time with $3,000 to win on the line and $500 to start. Racing is set to begin at 7:00 pm with spectator gates opening at 5:00 pm and pit gates at 1:00 pm. The following night the USAC West Coast Sprint Cars will take the half-mile with the famed World of Outlaw Sprint Cars. Racing will begin the same time. IMCA modifieds will also be racing both nights.
The Stratosphere Hotel and Casino has set up a discounted rate for the weeks events, including NASCAR weekend. You can call them at 800-99-TOWER and use the code “Racefan” for the discount.

The Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northern & Southern Series will take off almost two months before they head to Kansas and Oklahoma for the biggest weekend of racing in series history. We will be taking an the MARS DIRTcar Series for three nights of action. Friday, April 27th we will be at the Great American Speedway in Jetmore, kS for $1,500 to win and $225 to start, Saturday, April 28th we will return to Jetmore, KS for the 3rd Annual Sunflower State Showdown that will be the highest paying race in series history, paying $12,000 to win and $1,200 to start. Then on Sunday, April 29th we will head 100 south west to Beaver County Raceway in Beaver, OK for $3,000 to win and $400 to start.
All Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Northen Series and Championship Late Model Association DIRTcar Southern Series races will be DIRTcar Regional and National Points races and will pay a minimum of $1,200 to win and $225 to start.
