The MSCCS to Invade the Gulf Coast This Saturday Night!

Columbus, MS-The MSCCS will kick off its 2005 tour this Saturday night March 5th with the running of the second annual “Frost Bite 50” paying $5,000 to win and $300 to start for the much anticipated event at South Mississippi Speedway in Long Beach, Mississippi. A star studded field of the regions top Super Late Model drivers is expected to be on hand to take on the racy quarter mile oval that was host to excellent MSCCS races last season.

Drivers and teams should note there will be added awards and contingencies on the line the “State Series” opener as Bullet Cams will be award a roller cam, and there will also be the Wall 2 Wall Racing Engines Bonuses available including $100 Fast time ($200 if using a Wall 2 Wall powerplant), not too mention a $500 bonus to win with a Wall 2 Wall engine.

The event will also be the kick off for the Jay Dickens Racing Engines Rookie of the Year title chase along with the Brown Engineering Fast Gun Award competition.

MSCCS racing action will get underway with Brown Engineering Pole Qualifying locking in the top 8, with the Cliburn Tank Lines B-Mains to fill positions 9 through 20 plus 2 provisional starters to complete the 22-car starting field.
