Sprint car racing is one of the most thrilling forms of motor sports. The roar of the engines as these machines scream around short tracks slinging dirt at incredible speeds as they weave in and out of traffi c leaves fans in awe.

But what’s it really like to race around a dirt track at around 100 mph? Will you be dizzy and staggered, or looking for more? Find out by winning a chance to take a ride in The Outdoor Channel’s two-seat winged sprint car.

With the assistance of Dave Blaney, a former World of Outlaws Sprint Series champion and current NASCAR racer, this 750-horsepower sprinter with backing from The Outdoor Channel will debut with the Outlaws Feb. 11 at the half-mile dirt track just outside of Barberville, Fla. It no doubt will give some lucky fan a chance to gain insight into what the drivers in the Outlaws’ Mean 15 go through nearly 100 nights a year as they take aim at a series championship.

Unlike other two-seat sprint cars, this newly designed model features a standard wheelbase that enables a driver, who sits on the right side of a passenger, to slide through the turns as if he were racing his own machine.

This could enable you, if you win a ride at select tracks, a chance to strap in, hold on and scorch down the front stretch and into Turn 1, where you’ll feel as if the car is trying to toss you out. Then, before you can catch your breath, you’re pushed right down in the seat as the car shoots down the backstretch and into Turn 3. No roller coaster could ever hope to top this experience.

So Feb. 11 head to Volusia Speedway Park and take in the action by the best sprint racers anywhere in the world. And who knows, maybe you’ll win a chance to experience it firsthand.
