The United States Modified Touring Series Roars into Illinois for 4 Days Next Week!

St. Charles, MO (April 8, 2003) The United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) makes a swing through Illinois beginning Wednesday, April 16 at Godfrey Speedway in Godfrey, IL. The series then moves to Macon Speedway in Macon, IL on Thursday April 17 for the George Handley Memorial. USMTS will donate $2 from every ticket sold to the George Handley family. The Illinois swing wraps up on Friday and Saturday April 18 and 19 at Spoon River Speedway in Canton, IL.

Modified drivers will be allowed to run the Hoosier A, D or H40 series tire or the American Racer G60 during all four days of action in Illinois.

The event at Godfrey Speedway will pay $2,000 to the winner. Godfrey Speedway is located on Hwy 111 just one mile east of Hwy 67 on the north side of Godfrey, IL. For more information on Godfrey Speedway call (618) 466-6905 or visit www.godfreyspeedway.com.

Spoon River Speedway's will have two shows, the first event on Friday pays $2,000 to the winner. Then on Saturday, the winner takes home $3,000.
