Thoughts on racing tonight at Belleville

Was alright imo but could have been a lot better! They did a good job of getting them over early. Car count was kinda low but for this early in the season it wasn't bad! Thanks for a night of racing and hope tomorrow night is just as good!
 
Just got home from Belle-claire. Pretty much a full house. Good car count for the late models and modifieds. Nice job keeping the program moving. Turns 1 & 3 with deep ruts most of race but kudos to track personal doing their best working on it. A couple of cars hit these ruts and came halfway to almost turning over. Was confused by Korte still in the #00. Thought he was going to be in the #81 Riggs car? Missed Dixon not being there. Thought the cheeseburgers and franks were a little pricey at $4.00 each, but a bag of chips and a canned soda more than fair at a buck each. Great night of racing, really enjoyed it. The worst part of the night was i think i saw Dirtboy.
 
I was surprised by the car count as well, especially in the support classes. It seemed to be difficult to pass as well. Bottom line is I'm just glad racing is back. Weather was great.
 
Belleville was packed...what a great night of racing! This was a pre-season race and a lot of racers don't have their cars ready yet. I thought it was great to see so cars at this race. And didn't that GREEN #19 Mod look fantastic? Great job tonight Jimmy!
 
I was impressed by Jimmies run tonight.....Foe as much rain as we have had,,,,track was awesome.
 
4th on back in latemodels there was a lot of great racing. 2 sometimes even 3 wide in corners. Shame B shepp had flats. Was impressed with track for first night..

Video taped Late Models and Modifieds from turn one last night Didn't see anyone in the air or on two wheels
 
Was in turn one also.thought Harrison was going to flip when he hit that rut a couple of times.but no complaints.it happens.I do have a question.I heard them talking about glen jacoby.I was in the bathroom and couldn't here what was going on.

Clink.. Jacobys grandson wanted to call a race.... and did. Priceless. Loved it. I agree with what you said about Harrison. The car went that high in the air ....and leaned over like it was close to flipping.
 
Christmas Morning!

When I got out of the car and smelled the fumes,I was ready for some action. It's been a long 4 months w/o my racing itch being scratched...:)..Some Drivers that impressed me: Tyler Rat,JRip,the "Tornado",Dean Hoffman and the "Saw"! Great Crowd,Great Show,Great Weather. Congrats to Don and the track crew! They should be very happy about last night! See you next week for the POWRi Show!....:cool:
