With the rain in the forcast with temps in the 40's Fri.night.After last weeks disaster,maybe taking a week of would make sense.JMO Don't get me wrong,I was there last week,and probably will be Fri. if they race.But,no one in the stands will hurt us later on.What ever Don decides,turn4 will support.
 
Hopefully the forecast changes and the weather is good. But if it stays the same we should all support any tracks decision. No one can take loses like that and I for one would much rather have the track racing when its nice and they can make money over them losing their butt and closing.
 
Do you really want to cancel races based on a forecast that can change 3 times in the next 3 days?

It all depends on the weather website you visit.. Most all do have rain for Friday..

Some sites only have 10% chance of rain for Saturday.. Others have 40-50% chance on Saturday.
 
NWS is your best bet on weather and by the looks of it Tri City will for sure be a washout and Paducah will be iffy at best...
 
Most tracks cancelled Thursday afternoon, which I was totally cool with. It use to be that Pevely would wait and see, no matter the forecast. I've seen it rain all around the track, and not a drop at the track. But I guess it's easier in today's market to cancel early instead of paying people to cook food, prep the track, etc., only to have a rainout.

Not saying that I-55 should've waited until Saturday. They made the right call.
