Times moved up for IMCA World Products Empire State Series finale

KIRKWOOD, N.Y. (Oct. 27) – IMCA Modifieds following the World Products Empire State Series will get an earlier start to their final tour event of 2011.
All times announced earlier this week for the Saturday, Oct. 29 program during the National Quarter Mile Dirt Track Championships at Five Mile Point Speedway have been moved up one hour.
Pit gates at Kirkwood now open at noon and the grandstand opens at 1:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 2:45 p.m. and racing starts at 3:45 p.m.
Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $8 for students ages 13-17. Kids ages 12 and under get in free. Pit passes are $35.
The IMCA feature pays $400 to win and a minimum of $100 to start. There is a $20 entry fee.
Eddie Sites of Monroeton, Pa., has a 10 point advantage over Constantia’s Kevan Cook heading into the finale.
