The 2010 edition of the annual $3000 to Win Titan Wheel IMCA Late Model Shootout is on tap at Quincy Raceways for this coming Friday, September 3. The fifty lap main event pays $3000 to Win and at least $300 to start. Previous winners of 5th annual event are Jeff Aikey in 2006, Tom Darbyshire in 2007, Terry Neal in 2008 and Keith Pratt in 2009.
Ray Guss Jr. will roll into Quincy with a huge 80 point lead over Andy Eckrich in the Deery Brothers Summer Series point standings followed by Jeff Aikey in third four points back of Eckrich. The Labor Day Weekend is a big three race weekend for the Deery Brothers Series with Quincy on Friday, Lee County on Saturday Sept.4 and at the Boone Super Nationals on Monday Sept. 6.
The Miller Lite UMP Modifieds, Triple R Performance Engines IMCA Stock Cars and the Tim’s Machine Shop Hobby Stock will also be in action with the Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars both racing for National, Region and State Points.
The Pit Gates open at 4, Grandstands at 5, Drivers Meeting and Drivers Registration Ending at 6:45, Hot Laps at 7 and Racing at 7:30pm. Adults tickets are $18, Seniors $15, Students (11-16) $10, Kids (10 and Under) Free, the Family Pass(2 Adults & 2 Students) is $45. Pit Passes are $25. Season Tickets will be honored for this event. Bring your tickets stubs for this event back on Sunday September 5 for $2 off admission for the King of the Hill/Front Row Challenge event.
