I know it is a open wheel show but I would bet if you added the B-mods you would have a very nice field of cars---inc.. the guys at the top of the national points---and if my B is still running even my old azz---JMO

Well, if they are going to add the B-mods, they need to do it quickly in order to qualify for UMP points for these guys. Also, they need to advertise it on here so drivers know about it and show up. Times a-wasting.

Adding a 3rd class would improve this show.Charging $15 for 2 classes is too much. The stands will be empty again! RIP Belle Clair

I refin, were you there the last time they ran the midgets? It was on of the best shows i have ever seen and this is powri speed week finally. There will prob be 100 or more cars there between the two classes.

Here is one name that will bring the fans to the stand - RICO!!! He is scheduled to be there and THAT will be the show. Add the fact that it is the last show in the IL speed week, there will be a lot of good cars there and it will be a great show. Watch who runs the shows before Belle Clair.

Jack this is not the last show for speedweeks as they are racing Saturday Night at Macon for speedweeks sir.

2015 Illinois SPEED Week Show At Macon
POWRi Heading To Town

Millstadt, IL – With clocks counting down, teams from all over the United States and across the world are putting the finishing touches on their racecars, as they prepare for the third annual POWRi Illinois SPEED Week presented by Toyota. As has been the case in previous years, drivers from the United States, Australia, and New Zealand will be in attendance. Macon Speedway marks one of this year's stops, Saturday, June 6.

With Kiwi’s Brad Mosen and Hayden Williams set to run in midget competition, along with the Keith Kunz Motorsports team led by Christopher Bell, the stout lineup of drivers is already taking shape to make the 2015 POWRi Illinois SPEED Week presented by Toyota one of the most awaited events of the year.

“It would be pretty cool to win it again,” said Christopher Bell. “I won the first one, but didn’t get the opportunity to run last year. It’s definitely a really fun event. We go to a lot of really cool racetracks right in a row. It’s just a really fun week.”

With four straight nights of racing on tap, the 2015 Illinois SPEED Week will open at Quincy Raceways in Quincy, IL on Thursday, June 4th. Following Quincy Raceway, teams will travel to Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, IL on Friday, June 5th and then to Macon Speedway in Macon, IL on Saturday, June 6th. The Illinois SPEED Week finale will take place at Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL on Sunday, June 7th.

Joining the POWRi Midgets and Micros at Macon Speedway will be the Billingsley Towing Modifieds, B-Mods, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Pit gates open Saturday, June 6 at 3:00, grandstands at 5:00, hotlaps at 6:00, and racing action will take the green at 7:00. Adult admission is $15, while children 11 and under are free.

The Belleville SPEED Week show is on Sunday! That is after Macon which is Saturday..

OK, this is what I meant....if and when the Belleville promoter wants to add another race for the B-mods (not necessarily this weekend), he needs to take into consideration the time required by UMP before announcing a newly scheduled race date so it qualifies for UMP points. The B-mods don't run at Belleville again until August 23, and then on Sept. 4. I would like to see them race some more dates at Belleville, since they had so many rainouts this spring. So the dates have to be decided on and then announced.
