TRI CITY practice

the 89 was matt hartnett not mike bryant, and the track is bad a**!Great job Kevin

i think the 444 was a latemodle. lookd like he had big tires on it when i went around him. he was having problems. i may be wrong

This track is awesome. As long as the burm in three and four gets worked up the track a little more like in 1 & 2 this track will be very racey. Lots of moisture in the track and the track held up good. Very fast, lots of traction. Most of the latemodels were freeing their cars up all night. This is a track that is similar to what you will find outside of the St. Louis area which is good for our drivers because they will learn how to drive more sweeping, long, wide open corners. This track will have 20 plus late models and plenty of mods all year long with or without UMP. A quality track, with quality officials, and a top notch payout. Like it or not Tri-City is going to be battling I-55 for the top track in our area. I also believe that when they consistently get over 20 late models on Friday nights UMP will change their mind. Just my opinion.

Could not have said it better myself.

It does not take a rocket scientist to physically sit in the stands, see the track, see cars on the track, and decide that yourself along with the cars currently on the track will definately be returning.

I could have watched Collins, Faust, Kloos and Zobrist take laps till the sun came up. I talked to Bryan in the pits. He likes it A LOT :D

The track was absolutely awesome! I think it's going to generate some killer racing. Lighting was soooo different from what TCS drivers are used to, bright and consistent all around. Very cool. My only concern was that we need a caution light in turn 3 before we actually race on it. The inside frontstretch wall (victory lane) could use a tractor tire at the end of it so no cars get cut in half if they get shoved into it. Those are safety deals but the track itself is unbelievable. I can't wait for this weather to finally give it up so we can get things rolling.

I agree the track looked great, from a fans point of view. Collins, Faust, Kloos, Kopp and Zobrist were flying around that track. I would like to know now how many cars are planning on returning. I know there were a few cars there last night, that I have seen at Belleville.
Kevin, Tammy and crew have done a wonderful job! Cant wait to see some racing!

There Was Also A #82 Sportsman There Also. Looked Like Pat Chalmers Car From Last Year.

the 82 is pat chalmers, son had cancer and they removed it and there is a 82% chance it wont come back. so pat decided to keep the good luck goin by changing his number

Aaron caution lights for the backchute are being installed, just ran out of time for practice last Thursday.

Thanks, Kevin

Thats what I figured, but I thought I'd bring it up just in case (I know that with the faster speeds, Red won't be in too big a hurry to go jumping out in front of cars with that yellow flag:eek: ) Anyway, with this crazy weather we were wondering what are the chances of installing a retractable roof? lol. See ya Wed at practice.
